Roll and I went to the Nexus for Halloween, because the Alphas and the rest of the robot masters had a halloween party in the warehouse they're living in now. It doesn't look that much like a warehouse any more. More like a little town inside a big building. Ice was there, and he's going to try to visit more often now that Wily's dead. Which is good, because I want all of us to be there when X is activated.
I met a woman at the party who'd spent years in a sort of miniature universe where time's faster than it is in ours. I talked to her and to Blues, and then I went home to talk to Dad. And then Blues talked to Dad. And, well, now X is there. I was still a
little unsure about it, after some of the things Dad said, but Blues says it will be better this way. That humans really aren't going to get any more ready in thirty years than they are now, unless they have to deal with what they're supposed to get ready for. I think Blues is right... they're not really any more ready for us to exist than when Blues was made, because most of them never see us.
Blues took the first shift watching X, and Fire is there now. And when we've all gone, it'll have been thirty years for X, but it'll just be next spring at home.
